HypeR Street Gear: An Underground Revolution

HypeR Street Gear was established in 2012 as the first underground clothing brand in Peru designed by artists for artists.

Unlike other brands in the market at the time, HypeR offered a full range of products, including hoodies, hats, jackets, shorts and more.

In addition to clothing, HypeR became involved in the local creative scene by sponsoring and organizing graffiti, skate, and electronic music events. This helped the brand gain recognition within the underground community, where it became known for its support of artists and for contributing to the underground culture.

By 2013, the brand had reached a 'cult status' in the alternative scene in Peru.

Within a year, HypeR expanded its operations, opening a physical store in Lima and establishing commercial partnerships in Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, and Argentina. The brand differentiated itself from others in the underground market by maintaining a professional approach, offering seasonal collections and delivering a wide variety of top quality products.

In late 2015, HypeR Street Gear was sold to a retail company, and the brand continued its operations under new management.
